Hi Kerry,
I totally agree with you; visionaries need to keep on visioning; explorers - exploring; modifiers - modifying and experimenters - experimenting. More details on the Innovation Styles are available at: http://innovationstyles.com

This resource was used in Marie Jasinski's research in 2006 and I have to say inspired me then and sustains me now - it helps validate my purpose as an elearning coach and mentor.

You may find these useful to convince you that you need to 'stay at the front' and continue to explore and advise on the latest in educational trends. IMHO we need innovators with all of these characteristics to help create the 'critical mass' required for forward momentum in education.

I think you said it when you said you do many of the things you do for your own learning. I think that is what I need to remember. I just started to figure out how friendfeed works...I imagine others have figured it out...I guess it really doesn't matter because I now understand another networking tool just a little bit better. And my son...had a ball with you the other morning:)
